The Windsor Knolls Orchestra is a 62-member string performance ensemble dedicated to providing the string student with the highest quality music education in the middle school. The orchestra gives between five and eight performances every year. These include our annual Winter and Spring concerts, feeder pattern concert, recruiting concerts and adjudicated performances at Hershey Park and Kings Dominion. The orchestra also performs at County and State adjudications. Members of the orchestra participate in the All-County Orchestra festival as well as the Solo and Ensemble County and State festivals. Membership in the orchestra is open to any string student in the Urbana High School Feeder Pattern.

Joining the WKMS Orchestra is easy!! No audition is necessary. You just simply sign up!

If you are a string player in the Urbana High School feeder pattern, or if you just moved into the area, you are just the person we are looking for! Joining the WKMS orchestra is as easy! All you have to do is sign up in 5 th grade! If you are a string player who just moved into the area, you can join by simply signing up in 6 th , 7 th , or 8 th grade! It is never too late to join the Windsor Knolls Orchestra!
