2nd Grade Author-of-the-Month Sites

All second grade classrooms participate in a monthly author lesson in the library.
Mrs. Austin reads one or two books by a particular author to the class and then
sends more books by that author to the classroom.
Then the students will read and learn about the author all month long.

5th Grade Student-Created Author Pages
This year, the following 5th grade students participated in a
weekly book discussion group with media specialist, Mrs. Austin. Then they
completed research about the author and his/her works. They created an
informational web page to share with others the interesting facts they found!
