CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

The renovation project at West Frederick Middle School continues on schedule. The new addition has block walls, roof supports, and all concrete is poured. Inside the existing building, many of the areas are framed in, classrooms are designated according to the new plans, and even some new windows have started arriving. It is quite exciting to watch and there has been minimal disruption to the ongoing school day for West Frederick students and staff. Pictures of the renovation are posted on our web site for a more complete update.

West Frederick Food Drive

West Frederick Middle School students are conducting a food drive to support the local food bank which is in desperate need of canned and nonperishable food items. Students are motivated to support the food bank to provide healthy and adequate meals to those in need, particularly as the holiday season approaches. The food drive runs from October 27 th through November 24 th. Please send in your donations with any student at West Frederick or bring items to our office if you do not have a student enrolled here but would like to help
