Valley Elementary School is currently working in conjunction with Hood College as a Professional Development School (PDS) in a collaboratively planned and implemented partnership for the academic and clinical preparation of interns and the continuous professional development of both Frederick County Public Schools and Hood College. The focus of the PDS partnership is improving student performance through research-based teaching and learning.
