Tracy Hilliard

Acting Principal

Hi Timberwolves, welcome to another great year at Tuscarora Elementary.   Tuscarora is a great place for learning and we are proud of the professional learning community that we have established with the collaboration between parents, staff and students.   I do encourage you to be a part of our learning community by volunteering at OUR school in any capacity to promote student achievement.   I hope to see many new faces volunteering at OUR school.

A little about me:

I taught first grade for nine years at Carroll Manor Elementary School.   I served the Orchard Grove community from 1999-2004 as the assistant principal.   In 2004, I joined Mr. Lockard in opening Tuscarora Elementary School.   

 I graduated from Delaware State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. I have a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with certification in school administration and a master’s degree in Human Resources Development from McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland).    Lifelong learning is important and I intend on enrolling in a doctoral program in the field of education.

I live in Frederick with my husband Wayne, our son Troy 7 (he attends TuES), and our daughter Taylor Renee’3.   In my spare time I like to scrapbook, sew and most of all spend time with my family.

Administrative Secretary

Welcome to Tuscarora Elementary School’s fourth year.  My position as Administrative Secretary allows me to meet many TUES families.  I'm proud to be a part of a professional staff who cares about teaching and educating the children (and future leaders) of our community.  With FCPS since 1999, I was formerly at Liberty Elementary School.  I have been a secretary at several different organizations in Frederick since moving here in 1979. 

Originally from New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, my husband and I have two daughters, a grandson and a granddaughter.  When I'm not at TUES, you can find me outside whenever possible walking my Golden Retriever, Cody.  Other past times include scrap booking, making jewelry, investigating my family genealogy or playing my piano.  We're big sports fans .... In the fall, you may see Pittsburgh Steeler and Philadelphia Eagles signs around my desk, and spring and summer are reserved for the Baltimore Orioles.
