I am very excited to be the Principal at Twin Ridge Elementary School. This is my fifteenth year in education!. I
taught 3rd grade, 5th grade and was School
Support/Administrative Intern at South Frederick Elementary school for a total
of 8 years. I was Assistant Principal at Hillcrest Elementary School for four years and am in my third year as Principal of T.R.E.S.
I am a product of the excellent education system of
Frederick County Public schools.
I went to Walkersville Middle and High school.
I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary
Education from Mount Saint Mary's College and my Master's of Science degree in
Administration and Supervision from Hood College.
When I think of my motto and what I want to instill in our
students, I think of a poem that I have hanging in my office from Chicken Soup
for the Soul.

I will continue to work with staff, students, parents and community
members to hold high expectations for student achievement. I look forward to
working with these important people in our children's lives to ensure that Twin Ridge
Elementary School students achieve to their fullest potential.
