I work students in grades kindergarten through fifth. 

Classroom Expectations

• I expect students to arrive prepared to work, cooperate, and respect each other and me.  I let students know that making mistakes is part of the learning process for everyone.  I expect each child to do their best work and to make their own mistakes since that tells me what I really need to teach them.

Homework Policy

• When homework is assigned it should take 10 minutes or less.  The children will have assignments from other classes which will fill up their homework time.  A standard weekend homework assignment is to go outside and have fun--which should take longer than 10 minutes.
