Sugarloaf Mountain
 
Standing at 1282 feet above sea level, Sugarloaf Mountain represents the highest point of the Maryland Piedmont. A metamophosed sandstone, named quartzite, covers the top of this mountain giving it a white sugary appearance from a distance.
