The following information has been collected by Frederick County Public School sixth graders. The Outdoor School provides a 2 day field study of the different rivers and streams of Frederick County as a follow-up to the water unit taught in their home school science class. Besides collecting water data the students also observe the great variety of plants and animals that are found in our wetlands and surrounding areas. They also discover the importance of wetlands to the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Click on a school year below to see data from that school year.
