Using various resources you will compare and contrast the habitats, vulnerabilities and conservation of three endangered species. After your research has been gathered, you will use Publisher to create a flyer and postcard. Your flyer and postcard will explain how an organism’s vulnerabilities affect its risk of being endangered. You must research at least 3 different endangered species that reside on different continents. You must get information on 2 animals from books and 1 animal from websites.
You will have one day to complete your research on your endangered species. Use your time wisely and efficiently! While in the library, you will utilize reference books and selected websites to complete the following tasks. Remember, you must get information on 2 animals from books and 1 animal from websites.
1. Complete your organizer with the appropriate information for your three species.

Determine
where each of your species lives. On your map,
label each location.
3.
Using the graphic
organizer, compare and contrast the vulnerabilities with TWO
species. You should have at least 2 similarities and differences for each.

to prevent species from becoming extinct.

contact with questions.

Choose two of the three organisms you researched and do the following:
Flyer – Use the Microsoft Publisher program template to design a flyer. With one endangered organism you chose include reasons for concern (what are it’s vulnerabilities?) and possible solutions, and also a picture of the organism and/or its habitat. You may also include any additional information you feel is important.

Post Card – Use Microsoft Publisher Post Card Template to create a postcard about one of your endangered animals. Include pictures of the organisms. Write a letter as if you are the organism telling others about what they should do to save you.
