All students at Oakdale Elementary visit the media center as a class at least
once a week. During the forty minute session students are engaged in a learning
activity and have an opportunity to borrow books from our 17,000 item collection.
The 2008-2009 media center schedule for classes is:
Monday---Sherman, White, Sahli, Mcilwee, and Ritt
Tuesday---Fox, Flores, French, and Mills
Wednesday---Codichini, Hudson, Hocherl, Carignan, and Crum
Thursday---McShane, Palermo, Clawson, Gibbons, Bliven, and Glover
Friday---Shaha/Wenner, Leap, Scott, and Riese
Parents can help their children have a positive experience in the media center
by reminding them of their library day, and helping them take care of their books.
Students may keep their books for 10 days before they become overdue, and they may renew unfinished books.
