- Compute math facts up to 9
- Identify coins and count money
- Tell time (analog) to the minute
- Identify and spell high frequency words
- Write a detailed sentence (using adjectives and phrases)
- Identify long and short vowels and vowel digraphs in words (out, oil)
- Summarize a passage on independent reading level
- Be responsible for school work and homework assignments
Children should leave fourth grade able to do the following tasks.
- Choose books that are “just right”
- Read fluently using expression
- Present information in an organized manner with good speaking skills
- Organize ideas before writing
- Have an understanding of how math is used in “real life” situations
- Use content to determine the meaning of unfamiliar words
