We, as a learning community, are committed to the goal of academic excellence and believe that the fundamental skills of reading, communication, and math are of the highest priority in the education of our children. We also believe that a child's self esteem is the key to success in school and we have created a safe, orderly and supportive environment that enhances the joy of learning. There is a strong commitment on the part of our entire staff to academic integrity while making emotional connections with students.

In addition, the Frederick County Public School System provides an essential Calendar Handbook which is distributed to students on the first day of school and should be read carefully by all parents and guardians.
