Welcome
to Middletown Elementary - where our students enter with
enthusiasm and exit with accomplishment! This is our school
motto and we are extremely proud of our school. We, as a
learning community, are committed to the goal of academic
excellence and believe that the fundamental skills of reading,
communication, and math are of the highest priority in the
education of our children. We also believe that a child's
self esteem is the key to success in school and we have
created a safe, orderly and supportive environment that
enhances the joy of learning. There is a strong commitment
on the part of our entire staff to academic integrity while
making emotional connections with students.
We are fortunate to have a
high degree of parent involvement, which has yielded positive
results for our students and staff. The culture of our school
is centered in pride, which is mutually shared by our parents,
students, staff, and community.
This website is supports and
supplements our printed Student-Family Handbook.
We would like you to always have a ready reference of information
about our school’s activities and daily operation.
In addition, the Frederick County Public School System provides
an essential Calendar
Handbook which is distributed to students on the
first day of school and should be read carefully by all
parents and guardians. To
