Attendance

All students are expected to be in attendance whenever school is in session. Students may not arrive before 8:30 a.m. unless they are participating in the 8:00 tutorial program. Students who arrive after 9:00 a.m. are considered tardy or late and must report to the office to receive a late pass in order to be admitted into class. Students should have a note from a parent or guardian indicating the reason for the tardiness or absence. Absence, tardiness and parent requests for early dismissal are strongly discouraged except for sickness, medical treatment, death in the family, religious observances and court appearances. Parents who wish to accompany their child(ren) into our school must park in a designated parking space (not in the circle). They must sign in at the front office and get a vistors pass. Those without a visitor’s pass in the hallway will be asked to return to the office to complete this process.

Dismissal

Students will be dismissed at 3:30 p.m. Bus riders will be dismissed as their buses arrive. Car riders will be escorted to the cafeteria for pick-up. Parents who wish to enter the building should park in a designated parking space. Parents then must sign in at the front office and get a visitor’s pass. Parents may also pick up their child(ren) at the classroom exterior door. Teachers names are on the windows next to the exterior doors.
