FCPS policy indicates that student possession and use of electronic devices on school property and at school-sponsored events is a privilege, not a right. It further states that all electronic devices must be powered off at all times during the school day, while aboard a school bus and during after school activities. Electronic devices placed in a vibrate or other non-audible mode are not considered powered off for purposes of the policy. Students who are in violation of this policy are subject to disciplinary action and the electronic device will be taken from the student, the parent will be called and the parent will be requested to pick up the device. Your assistance in helping your child understand and follow this policy is appreciated.

tool allows both parents and students to always have the latest
grade information at their disposal with just a few clicks of the
computer.
Crestwood is very proud of our parnership with Mt. St. Mary's University as a Professional Development School for their teacher education program. Mount graduate and undergraduate teachers-in-training come to Crestwood to observe, shadow, and develop their skills as teacher interns. Crestwood students and teachers benefit from the lively exchange of ideas and having the additional staff to support student learning.

If your child will be riding a bus home at the end of the day other than his/her regular bus, a note must be sent by the parent and signed by an administrator. A second note is needed from the parent of the student's house to which they are going.
