Reading : Students continue to be learning about general reading processes. They are learning specific strategies to help improve their comprehension.

Spelling: Weekly assignments are given on spelling patterns. Work and word lists vary by reading group. Tests are given on Fridays.

Writing: We are practicing the steps in the writing process.

Science: Environments (the study of plants and animals)

Math: We're using the Investigations series to learn about data analysis and probability. All students have a packet of "Facts We're Working On." We are using these to learn multiplication combinations (facts) that are still not easily recalled. Please review these at home to provide needed practice in learning these facts.
