Greetings from The Fifth
grade class
Greetings from The Fifth grade class
April 23, 2008
Dear Families of Fifth Graders,
What a treat to see the sun return after the dreary few days! The 5th grade
classes will be starting the Science portion of the state testing. Since the
test is completed on a computer, only one class at a time can take the test.
It lasts for 2 days.
In science small groups in each class have been creating their own Biodomes.
Talk to your child about the Biosphere II project and what he is doing in class
with his group. Each class is doing something different in LA. Mr. Miller is
working on research, Mr. Price is working on plays, and Mrs. Chew is revisiting
novel excerpts.
We have lots of exciting events approaching during this spring! Please
Mark Your Calendars!
April 26th from 9 am – 4 pm
you and your family can come help clear the trail
behind the school. We will start around 9 am. Please bring tools such as shovels
and rakes.

May 13: 5th Gr. Field trip to the Baltimore
Museum of Industry-Info to come home soon. It is free thanks to our wonderful
PTO! (we will need parent volunteers)

BMS

All 3 classes are completely out of tissues.

in need of notebooks.
Have a good week!
Mrs. Chew, Mr. Miller, & Mr. Price
