SCHOOL RULES

The following items have been adopted as school rules at BCMS. Please familiarize all of your students with each and every one. The staff is asked to cooperate with the administration in consistently administering them.

1. Any student in the building prior to 7:45 must report to the holding area for their grade via the cafetorium doors.

2. At 7:45 students will start to go to their lockers to secure the necessary books and equipment.

3. By 8:00 all students must be in their seats for homeroom.

4. No gum or candy in school ‑ inside or out. Staff is requested to have students put gum or candy in trash can.

5. No food or drink in class areas unless prior permission is obtained from the principal.

6. No running in hall, cafetorium, or class areas.

7. No radios, tapes or phonographs will be permitted unless it is part of a class project, in which case the teacher will be responsible for proper storage and protection.

8. Students may go to their lockers before homeroom, before lunch, after lunch and at other times as designated by grade-level teams. Students will not be allowed to go to lockers at any other time without a pass. Students will not be allowed to leave the lunch room without a pass.

9. No selling of any merchandise or soliciting for contests will be permitted in school.

10. All school books will be assigned by number. If any books are lost they must be paid for. Please turn in any found books to the main office. Take the responsibility to keep all assigned texts in the best of care.

11. Any student who wishes to remain after school for a school sponsored activity, or at the request of a teacher, must have a signed note from a parent.
