RE-WEIGHTING
GRADING CATEGORIES
When a classroom teacher
includes categories in grade
calculations, some period of time may pass before an assignment
is posted under that category. In the event no assignment will
be posted for a full term under a specific category, the teacher
may re-weight the remaining categories to give a more accurate
academic assessment of the student. If you have any questions
or concerns regarding a grade report, please contact your child’s
classroom teacher.
Per FCPS: "The
grades reflected on this site are not official due to variations
in dates when grades are entered and other factors related to
student enrollment and transfers. Also, FCPS regulations such
as the attendance requirement to earn credit are not applied
on this website. Final grades are calculated in accordance with
FCPS policy. Official grades are distributed via report cards
and transcripts."

VIEWING
CLASS MESSAGE FROM TEACHER
1. Login in to Pinnacle.
2. Select the class
(from the left side of window)
3. Select the report
named "Class Grades Report".
(This
is the ONLY area that displays the class message from a teacher.)
Class messages
are NOT viewable at the Grades Summary page that appears upon
initial login to Pinnacle.
