My name is Beverly Adams. I have been teaching vocal music at Thurmont Elementary School since 1999.  Prior to that I taught music at Franklin Middle School in Reisterstown, Md., Brunswick Middle School and St. Joseph’s High School in Emmitsburg.  In between my two teaching careers I was a financial aid administrator at Mount St Mary’s College for twelve years.

 I graduated from Catoctin High School and completed my undergraduate studies at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music (now Shenandoah University) in Winchester, Va and Mount St. Mary’s College.  My graduate courses include studies at Shenandoah University, Mount St. Mary’s College, VanderCook College of Music and Central Michigan University

My husband Harry and I are both life-long residents of Emmitsburg. We enjoy spending time with our daughter and son-in law, and especially our granddaughter, Michaela.  We like being outdoors and we love spending time at the beach.
