My name is Ryan Oman.  I was born and raised in Greenville, Pennsylvania (a small town in northwestern PA).  I attended Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA where I played basketball and graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.

I began teaching fifth grade at Spring Ridge Elementary School in 2002.  I have been at TES since 2005.  I currently am the head boys' varsity basketball coach at Catoctin High School and an assistant coach for the boys' and girls' varsity track programs.  I have enjoyed working with everybody in the community of Thurmont!
