The mission of the Thurmont
Elementary School Library Media program is:
- to be a integral part of TES and of
the Thurmont Community
- to work with
staff to create a learning environment for ALL students
- to provide
quality materials and teaching to students and staff
- to encourage
staff and students to become effective users of information sources
- to encourage
all staff and students to become lifelong readers for enjoyment and for
information
